The VENTUR is a bioclimatic patio roof with movable aluminium slats. When closed, they provide reliable protection from the rain. When open, the system used the Venturi effect: Air is accelerated, warm air is drawn out and fresh air is drawn in – creating a natural, cooling airflow. This creates a pleasant microclimate – even on hot days. The patio thus becomes a space that can be used almost at any time.

The VENTUR slatted roof creates new spaces for a wide variety of uses. In the private domain, it expands living space and enhances quality of life – even when combined with outdoor kitchens. In the hotel and catering industry, it enables predictable capacity utilisation and additional revenue potential. In public spaces, it creates sheltered areas for work, relaxation and socialising – whatever the weather. The automated control system provides additional comfort: With ONYX, the VENTUR becomes an intelligent system. The system automatically adapts to weather conditions such as sun, wind, rain, temperature, frost and snow. The system can be easily controlled via an app or seamlessly integrated into existing smart home systems.

The design of the VENTUR follows a clear design philosophy: minimalism, precision and timeless aesthetics. In collaboration with Studio F. A. Porsche – the design studio behind the Porsche brand –  a product has been created that combines technical performance with design clarity. Sturdy aluminium profiles convey a sense of stability, whilst soft lines and slim cross-sections lend a sense of lightness. Technical components remain virtually invisible. The result is a seamless, understated design that blends harmoniously into a wide variety of architectural styles.

With the VENTUR, colours, materials and finishes are no accident, but part of a holistic design concept. Carefully curated colour combinations allow for a harmonious match with the architecture and personal style. Six defined colour schemes provide guidance and simplify the selection process, whilst the entire HELLA range of colours and fabrics is also available to cater for individual preferences.

When it comes to stability, the VENTUR is one of the strongest systems in its class. With wind resistance of up to 137 km/h and snow loads of up to 500 kg/m², it is designed for a wide range of climatic conditions – from stormy coastlines to high-altitude alpine regions. The TÜV-certified system statics ensures safety and reliability, simplifies the technical inspection process and, depending on the region and size, assists with obtaining the necessary planning permission

Whether freestanding, flush-mounted or integrated – the VENTUR is based on a modular concept for maximum design freedom. The system can be individually configured and extended, and provides shade even for large areas without compromising the clean look. Additional solutions such as vertical awnings or sliding glass panels are fully integrated and can be retrofitted at any time. Integrated LED lighting provides atmospheric lighting.
