ECN-System®

The unique connection of the individual slats with a patented stainless steel clip cam belt (ENC) sets completely new standards for outdoor blinds. HELLA is well known for its unique slat programme. The ECN-System® completes the design and improves the functionality of the traditional systems.

Due to Kevlar insertions, the textile carrying strip is extremely shape-retaining and thus can guide the slats silently, safely and free of torsion by means of two-part connecting pins made of plastic and stainless steel brackets.
This has a direct effect on the durability of the product and on the basic components like lifting tapes, guide rail insert and guide pins.

Features and advantages

Venetian blinds  are suitable for inside and outside installation and primarily control the sunlight. Venetian blinds are mainly used indoors.  Unlike outdoor blinds, which are equipped with a lateral guide rail, Venetian blinds are only fixed to the upper edge of the window; available for  AR 63 ECN / AR 80 ECN.

To meet the individual structural requirements of your house or apartment, the blinds from HELLA are available with different slat widths for both the exterior and the interior.

 Interior Venetian blinds are available from a width of 16 to 80 mm.

The inside installation can be carried out as follows:

• On the glass frame (the strips that fix the window glass in the casement frames)
• In the window recess (wall opening for the window)
• Onto the window frame
• In front of the window recess

Especially for PVC windows special clamping brackets are available for the installation onto the window frame to avoid boreholes in the frame. To prevent that the Venetian blind sticks out from the tilted window, it is provided with a so-called pendulum safety device .

Exterior Venetian blinds are available with a slat width from 50 to 100 mm.

Maintenance & Tips

Technically speaking, your Venetian blind from HELLA is maintenance-free. A long physical life is guaranteed, if the blinds are operated, cleaned and maintained correctly.
